Hij is gefascineerd door de absurditeit van de veelheid aan spullen. ‘Winkels worden steeds groter en voller. Maar waar hebben we het allemaal voor nodig?' Als collectioneur koopt Van de Luijtgaarden op Marktplaats complete verzamelingen op van objecten zoals wegwerpaanstekers, kikkers, G.I. Joe actiepoppen en flippo's. Voor de tentoonstelling zijn ze keurig gerangschikt tot een rariteitenkabinet. De dwaasheid van het ‘nooit genoeg' blijkt onherroepelijk. <span style="font-weight: bold;"> Nieuw perspectief. </span><span>Van de Luijtgaarden heeft collega kunstenaars, ontwerpers en fotografen gevraagd een verzameling te adopteren binnen hun eigen discipline. En de odd materials zijn lekker apart, zoals (eetbaar)papier! Één ding is duidelijk: super vette materialen!</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:85%;">Catwalk shows zijn zo 2010! Improved komt met de nieuwste stage wat betreft het tonen van haar collecties. Dus geen catwalk show met statisch publiek maar een reis door een fashion-minded universum. Iedereen is er uniek maar toch allemaal hetzelfde. Wie weet kom je iemand tegen bij wie je het hemd van het lijf kan eten (odd!). En dit alles beleef in een stage dat gedragen wordt door balades van verschillende muziekinstrumenten.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:85%;">Het zal een unieke experience worden, waar niets is wat het lijkt en alles lijkt op datgene wat het niet is. It was quite a chilly day and a little bit too cloudy, but in the end it worked out fine. I'm very happy with the results (I know that I'm not a professional photographer, a professional without a doubt had done it better, but I really enjoy to do photoshoots.) And the model, Marit, did a really good job!
